DO Watch intake of processed foods and fast food.
“They are generally high in sodium and will exacerbate the problem,” explains Danielle Omar, a dietician-nutritionist in Fairfax.
DON’T Spend every minute on the scale.
“This is not the time to become weight obsessed. Just relax and accept the fact that your body is changing,” Omar says. She also advises drinking more water than usual and exercising.
