[The FEED] Thrive Market Organic Picks
It’s time for a new Feed Post! The Feed is where I share things I’m loving from various places, with a highlight on great stuff I swear by, stuff I want to try, great deals, and fabulous finds! I love sourcing fun stuff for the foodies, the “frugies,” and everyone in between. I’m always looking for a good deal so this series is just as much for me as it is you. 😉
Today’s FEED post is focusing on organic finds at Thrive Market. Thrive is an online market similar to Whole Foods but with Costco prices – and it’s just what I’m into right now! If you’re not a member yet, learn more and sign up here. Place your first order to start your FREE 30-day trial membership, then it’s only $60 per year. Trust me, you’ll earn that $60 back with your first few orders.
Here are a few of my favorite ORGANIC favorites:
Herbal Tea • I love my tea in the evenings and I peppermint is my go-to.
Maple Syrup • A staple in my house for so many things. It’s my sweetener of choice.
Seaweed Snacks • These are more than just fun snacks! I also make “sushi” rolls using seasoned brown rice or wrap veggies in them like bell peppers, cucumbers and avocado!
Toasted Unsweetened Coconut Flakes • I haven’t tried these yet, but they are in my cart! YUM! Going to sprinkle these on yogurt, chia pudding, oatmeal, ice cream and everything else I can think of!
Bulk Organic Spices • I buy my spices in these packets and refill my containers to cut down on waste!
Essential Oils • I only use organic essential oils and Thrive is my go-to for these! They have their own brand and a few others and they are so reasonably priced. They also come in larger bottles if you go through them quickly! I love to diffuse oils while I work and I also use them to make homemade lotions, soaps and cleaning products. So fun!
Mulberries • I just love snacking on unique dried fruit! Mulberries contain decent amounts of iron and vitamin C, as well as potassium and vitamin E. They’ve been used in Chinese herbal medicine for thousands of years to treat various illnesses!
Cacao Nibs • These are a staple in my pantry. I use them for my no-bake energy balls and sometimes put them in my smoothie. I love the crunch!
Black Bean Pasta • I’ve been using this black bean pasta for years. It’s so high in protein and fiber it really satisfies my pasta cravings. I’ve tested it with all of my favorite spaghetti dishes. Try it with spring peas, chopped clams, cauliflower and even this tuna casserole!
Chia Seeds • Chia seed is another staple in my pantry. I love my chia seed pudding, don’t you?
Pasta Sauce • I’m always on the lookout for a tasty jarred pasta sauce and Thrive organic sauces are really good! I got one for free with an order a while back and we are hooked. It’s organic, very flavorful and totally works in a pinch when you need to get dinner done quickly!
Olive Oil • After visiting an olive oil orchard in Italy, I’m always on the lookout for high quality, flavorful, super green olive oil. This one from Thrive is made with organic Koroneiki olives that are grown, harvested, and bottled in western Crete. The flavor fruit and peppery and delicious!
Raw Cashews • Raw cashews are another staple in my no-bake balls. They’re actually my secret ingredient, but don’t tell anyone, okay?
Love Beets • These steamed and ready-to-eat cooked beets are perfect in salads, gazpacho, hummus, and smoothies. You can also just slice them up and enjoy!
I hope this post gave you some ideas for some fun organic picks at Thrive Market!
