But how exactly do we do all that?
BECAUSE WHEN IT COMES TO LOSING WEIGHT,
YOU’VE BEEN THERE, TRIED THAT…
Keto, paleo, plant-based, low carbs, high fat, intermittent fasting. You name it, if there’s a new diet making the rounds, you’re the first to give it a go.
And it’s not like you haven’t had some success. You’ve lost a few pounds here and there. Picked up a couple of good habits that have really stuck. You’ve even started happily choosing cucumber slices over crackers when you’re starving after work and dinner isn’t even close to being ready.
But there’s always something that derails all your focused effort.
Another work trip filled with fancy dinners and long lunches.
Summer vacations at the beach or that road trip to see family (I won’t even mention the holidays…)
Then there’s the weekends that get so crazy busy there’s no time to plan (much less prepare) healthy meals for the week ahead.
Before you know it, you’re cozying up to your old familiar ways again.
Only this time you’re filled with guilt and self-hate because you ‘should’ know better and you ‘should’ have more control.
How do other people make healthy weight look so easy?!
Here’s one thing I know for sure. Achieving and maintaining a healthy weight is not about ‘luck’ or ‘good genes.’ It’s not about constant calorie counting, food obsession, or feeling hungry all the time.
Instead, it’s about changing your mindset. It’s about becoming a conscious, curious, and creative eater who makes daily decisions that are right for your unique body.
Decisions that are sustainable for your lifestyle today, tomorrow, and 10 years from now.
